The Games | Mario Game Archive | Buoy Base Galaxy

The Floating Fortress- So our first problem here is that this Fortress is being held down due to a weight. To remove it, start by heading underwater and looking for the weight near the base. Get the attention of one of the nearby Torpedoes, and lead it to the weight, and of course destroy it. This will cause the weighted portion to move on up. Return to the surface and to where the new part is accessible. Start climbing up to the top, until you get to the Star Pieces. The first Star Piece is above the first Thwomp you find, so wall jump off and onto him, and ride him up.. Continue past the Thwomps and spin the screw on the far side. Once the green enemy comes out, spin attack him into a hole nearby. Then bounce on him to the next level. After you spin attack the blue screw, the platforms will start to move, and you will find the second piece. Head right along the platforms to find another Star Piece on the other side of the Tower. The 4th Piece is near the top on a ledge to the side, jump off one of the moving platforms to get there. The Final Piece is at the top, simply bounce off the enemy to get to it. The Star Pieces will create a new Pull Stars, allowing you access to the next planet. Head to the exact other side of the planet and spin attack. This will reveal a water filled interior. Swim to the center to get your star.

The Secret of Buoy Base- Dive into the water again, except this time look for a pipe covered by a glass cage. Lead another Torpedo there and get sucked into the pipe. Cross the platform to the other side, without falling off, because then you will have to enter through the pipe once more, and stand on the last yellow platform. Get a Bullet Bill’s attention, and lead him through the electric balls and into the cage. There is your star.
